Inside the “Legend Has It” Panel: Nas, Marvel, Mass Appeal & Hip-Hop Icons Make History at NYCC 2025

Nas, Marvel, and Mass Appeal joined forces at New York Comic Con 2025 to debut Legend Has It — a new comic series celebrating seven of New York’s most legendary hip-hop artists: Nas, Big L, Ghostface Killah, Slick Rick, Raekwon, Posdnuos (De La Soul), and Havoc (Mobb Deep). Created by Brandon Thomas and Sanford Greene, this panel explored the fusion of hip-hop and comic book culture, the storytelling legacy behind the project, and the limited Whatnot exclusive variant available to fans.
