No Gods, No Masters

Kaiju are everywhere and they have been for a few years. Godzilla tore through the DC Universe (2023-2024) and most recently Sonic the Hedgehog's world. While Godzilla is the main character in these stories, that notion isn't found in No Gods, No Masters.

This book focuses on the human characters and the struggles they have before and after the world is introduced to Kaiju. Felipe has already fled these monsters once from Venezuela and now they've come to New York. He'll need the help of his two new friends to find his mom and get the evacuation ferry before it leaves New York.

In the first issue I can already feel the vibes of I Am Legend in the story as these teens switch into survival mode and sneak through New York, avoiding Kaiju, but in some cases taking them out. With family on the line for Felipe, this book is going to be emotional, and we haven't even tapped into his friends Malik and Jeanie's lives yet. There's plenty of potential in these characters to have our heartstrings pulled even further.
